Dish Soap

Dish soap is the fluid used in washing of dishes, cutlery and crockery. It is invariably the fluid used by people when they head to the kitchen sink to do the dishes.  The advantage in using this dish soap is that a large volume of foam is generated which cuts the grease and oils in the food. The foam, when washed with water carries away the oily substances and the dishes get cleaned in no time. The soap dish does not irritate the hands and is washed away when fresh water is used. It contains no harmful chemicals, too.

When dish soap is mixed with water, the solution has very low surface tension and as a result, it is able to clean the grime from the dishes easily. In order to clean heavily greased dishes, it is better to obtain a strong solution. Dish soap works very well in combination with steel wool. This method of dishwashing is very suitable for washing pots and pans like soup pots and saucepans. Stock pots tend to retain quite an amount of the boiled liquid and a concentrated solution of dish soap works very well in cleaning it in a minute or even less.

Dish soap and steel wool must not be used on melamine or china, as the metal tends to scratch and scrape the glossy surface of the porcelain. This dish soap has some other very effective uses too, such as removing soot and grime from hands after engaging oneself in tasks like washing the car or spring cleaning. Bubbly solution of dish soap and water can be sprayed on cockroaches and other such pests to eliminate them. Also, dish soap concentrate can be used to clean stainless steel sinks too. you can also use them to clean the windshield of the car.
